Raster-Zeulenroda delivers 125 ton progressive forming machine.

In early December 2007, Raster-Zeulenroda delivered the 7.40 meter long, 3.30 meter wide and 4.80 meter high progressive forming machine PAUSt 125 to the company J.C.König in Solingen. Impressed by the innovation and the changes that were made to the machine, the company's owner Mrs. Iris König confirmed "that with this supplier, she is in the right hands."

The performance of the progressive press, based on the work capacity, has increased dramatically and cannot be compared to the previous machines. The machine has also been further optimized in terms of accuracy and quantity performance. In addition, this machine is equipped with a hydraulic overload protection and the new press force sensors from Brankamp. With this process monitoring system the process values are measured by special sensors during each stroke of the machine. The measured values are then compared to a previously stored reference curve. If they lie outside the low-tolerance range of the envelope, the parts will automatically be sorted out or a machine stop triggered. A higher process stability, better quality of parts and time savings are the result.

For a company such as Raster-Zeulenroda which is certified according to EN ISO 9001:2000, the implementation of such a system and the continuous improvement of the machine accuracy is not just a matter of self-understanding, its a necessity. Raster-Zeulenroda supports its customers in achieving objectives regarding quality leadership as well as time and cost savings.
